Bill Warnken – Head Varsity Girls Soccer / Head Cross Country

Mr. Warnken has been teaching for 23 years in South Carolina, Florida, and New York.  In that time he has coached a variety of sports including football, golf, and volleyball.  At Fox Creek, Mr. Warnken has coached cross country (2013-present), girls’ soccer (2018-present), and volleyball (2006-2008).  His volleyball teams won 3 consecutive region championships, the cross country team qualified for 5 consecutive state meets, and the girls’ soccer team advanced to the 2nd round of the playoffs in only their second season of competition.  Mr. Warnken has been named Region Coach of the Year on four separate occasions.

Mr. Warnken and his wife, Christie, owned a volleyball club in Tampa, Florida.  In addition, they have coached several club teams in the Augusta area since moving here in 2006.

Mr. Warnken loves the process of building team chemistry, watching student athletes develop into leaders, and the feeling of accomplishment when a team or individual meets their goal.  He strives to provide his athletes with rewarding experiences, a bit of fun, and great memories.
