Coach Stafford began her volleyball career at eight years old. She continued to play volleyball through high school, playing varsity all four years. While at Pickens High School, she was a part of three state championship teams and played club volleyball each year. She began her coaching career in high school, returning to her local recreation department to coach little league. She also worked as a coach each summer at Peggy Anthony’s Developmental Camps.
She went on to play at the collegiate level at Anderson College, now Anderson University. She continued her coaching career by evaluating talent for club tryouts and substitute coaching for her former club.
After college, Coach Stafford started a middle school volleyball program at Palmetto Middle School while teaching 7th grade. Her second year she was promoted to the Palmetto High School Head coaching position and took the team to the playoffs for the first time in many years.
Coach Stafford left the court to become a stay at home mom for several years. She returns to the court with a new understanding of how to motivate players to reach their greatest potential.
