Predators News · Fox Creek Finishes 11th at the State Qualifier

  Place Points
Fox Creek High School 11th 251

All in all, a successful season for the boys and girls cross country teams. In a weird year with COVID cutting into the number of practices and races and limiting the number of teams that could qualify for the State Qualifier and State Meet, the cross country teams have plenty to be proud of. Having made the jump from AA to AAA this year, both teams won the County Meet, the boys will raise their first banner as Region Champs, and both teams qualified for the State Qualifier. In addition, Trey Armstrong won the individual title as region champ, and 6 runners were named to the All-Region team. And the good news is that of the 16 varsity runners that trained for the State Qualifier, 13 will be returning next year.

Here are the results from today’s races:

State Qualifier
Girls Team – 11th place – 296 pts.

68 Annaleigh Leopard 26:28
70 Jessica Olsen 26:30
71 Anna Smith 26:31
78 Alaynah Guthrie 30:43
