On Wednesday, at Mount Vintage, the Predators finished first in their three-way match against Abbeville and Batesburg-Leesville. The Preds shot 174 on the day, which was good enough for a 16-shot victory. The Predators have now topped Saluda, Abbeville, Batesburg-Leesville, and Ninety-Six on the year in 9-hole matches.
While it was far from their best performance of the season, the Predators managed to sweep all six threesomes in the match en route to victory. Braedon Murphy was the only Predator on the day that did not have a single three-putt despite the tough green conditions. Colin Trahan shot 40 to lead the way for the team, good enough for second place overall. Evan Prickett shot 41, Bryce Bessey 46, Grant Riley 47, and Darien Dorn shot 49.
