In the greatest effort shown by the Lady Predators this season, the girls varsity volleyball team took down Ninety Six at home Thursday evening to start their run for the region title.

The team fought for every point each match and found their voice to take the momentum in the third set.

In the final set, Creek started with a quick, loud lead that Ninety Six just didn’t seem to recover from.

Callie Trahan lead the offense with poise not common for a freshman setter.

Junior Cam Ray lead the team with a beautiful 15 kills on the evening. Sophomore Jasmine Smith, along with Juniors Kyahna Thurmond and Lauren Colemn rounded out the Predator offense with a combined 22 kills.

Ray also lead the team with 7 aces.

Senior libero, Jenna Saul, lead the team on serve receive with 21 perfect passes and only 3 errors. While Sophomore Smith lead the team in digs with 16, Saul was not far behind with 10 digs on the evening.

Overall, it was a team effort in the fight for first place in the region.

The team will need to defeat Abbeville Tuesday night in order to secure first place in the region. Come out and be loud at 6:30 pm. You won’t want to miss it!
